Frist’s wealth increased by more than $14 billion over the past year, largely due to strong performance by HCA Healthcare, whose stock has remained above $500 since early February. The Frist family owns approximately one‑third of the company’s shares.

Among them are Thomas Frist and family at No. 48 and Memphian Pitt Hyde, founder of AutoZone, who ranked No. 2,052 with an estimated net worth of $2 billion.
